Because I currently can't do it. I have no computer, and no tablet, no sketchbook, no pencil, no nothing. I feel like exploding. Time to sleep.
But before I do, I would like to bring to mind all the certain people who are younger than 18, and how much better they are than us at art. Actually, if you are not a master, don't think about that, because it will make you jealous. Like I am. Right now.
Oh I am seething. Because this a such a great motivation, and all I can do is feebly type a rant on my dad's computer.
Pathetic.

My Page ~ Gallery for Twitter
Hi, thanks for visiting! This account is a joint gallery for my other socials. I only really visit it to update my gallery every month or two. Replies and comments will be delayed! - Commissions Open, but wait times are very long (up to a year). -
I keep disappearing! But I'm still here :)
Hello anyone who clicks on this! Life has been difficult lately (as always), and I focused on my twitter and insta for a bit, but I'm still on here. An update on my life: I'm doing a bunch of different art projects and art-related stuff for work! I can't do as much really pretty detailed paintings anymore, unfortunately, but when I make one I will post it. Doing art as a living is difficult, but still my goal, and I'll keep working toward it. It makes me kind of nostalgic thinking about how much fun I used to have on this platform as a kid. Nowadays I take all my commissions from in-person networking and career/professional platforms. I've never had that "internet personality" to make it big in a more casual manner ahaha. Anywho, happy holidays everybody. Hope ya'll are safe and survived the global pandemic.
How do life
Hey my fellow bird people!
First off, I’m on Twitter now more. I’ll probably round up everyone I know on here and follow them on twitter. If you have a twitter account, be a dear and leave it in the comments?
Also, I am trying to figure out how to make art work as a career and HARD guys. Big reason why I haven’t been as active online is that I’ve been doing murals, children’s books, graphic design work, and other random stuff related to creativity...
I just want to paint fantasy furry stuff lol. Anybody else feel this?
Far more active on Twitter!!
Hey ya'll! I have basically gone over to twitter to post art and hang out. If you want to join me/ follow me/ have conversations about birds and art, here is the link! https://twitter.com/WhiteGoldInk I'll still reply to messages on here, it will just take awhile!

Your reference to young people being good at art reminds me of looking through all my high school art projects a few weeks ago. While my skills since high school have increased tremendously in many areas, my old work was on average quite high quality (definitely higher in craftsmanship and they looked much more "professional"). Then I remembered how much better some of my classmates’ projects had seemed at the time. Certainly young people can make great work.
But that being said, I can hardly say that any of the pieces I made in high school were transformative on the personal level. Nothing I made from that time could claim to be even close to a reflection of the human soul. However, my later artwork, even though the technical skills are not as pronounced, allowed me to understand myself and to better understand the world and society. This ability to create art which reflects the human soul (a place only describable with nearly paradoxical statements) is not a task the young can necessarily do. While it is hard to put a minimum age on this, I doubt to see much of it from those under 18.
So I guess I got a little philosophical here. Ultimately, the question of who is "better at art" is really complicated. This post highlights my personal story, but each artist has his or her own story of development (and many of them far exceed mine in complexity). If you view art as merely a decorative item, then talent can be found at all ages. But if art is something more... the question becomes nearly impossible to answer. I guess the take away that I intended from this post is to simply realize that the question is, in fact, quite complicated.
